ABOUT YAS

Built for the machine economy.

Meet the team, advisors, journey, and partners behind the risk-intelligence platform for the machine economy.

Team & Advisors

The people behind it.

The team and advisory bench behind YAS spans serial founders, insurance, payments and venture — operating at global scale. That experience keeps us grounded in how machine-risk businesses are actually built.

Our journey

Value built, one milestone at a time.

  1. 2018

    Licensed in Hong Kong

MGA authorisation under IA Licence No. FA2648. Three founders, capacity partners in place, first policies underwritten.

  2. 2019–20

    First embedded products

FLY (travel) and RYUN (running) go live. Pay-per-use proves out — pricing tied to what people actually do, not who they are.

  3. 2021

    Partner integrations

KMB Bus RYDE, AlipayHK and TADA prove the embedded-flow model YAS now carries forward. The middleware idea — insurance disappearing into the host platform — clicks.

  4. 2023

    YAS goes commercial

YAS launches on HK commercial taxi fleets — real-time driver scoring, GLM-based pricing, pool incentives. First true machine-data underwriting deployment.

  5. 2024

    JOIE EV partnership

AURA scores over 10 million kilometres of commercial driving. First AI-adjusted commercial motor product in Hong Kong. The risk rail starts handling machines, not just trips.

  6. 2025–26

    AV, robotics, humanoids

YAS extends across delivery robots and humanoid deployments in HK, Malaysia and Singapore. Consumer and machine converge on a single platform.

Build with the team making machine risk insurable.

Underwriter, fleet, robotics platform, regulator — if machine risk sits on your desk, we should be talking.
